So here’s the thing; I would never want my clients to put too much emphasis on “before and after” images because the benefits of having a healthy and active lifestyle goes way beyond aesthetics …
However, like them or not, “before and after” images are a great tool because they let you see progress in a MEASURABLE way.
These kind of pictures are never mandatory with my clients, but I strongly encourage them. It’s always interesting to COMPARE OVER TIME, but not necessarily every month!
So why am I showing you mine?
To just prove that anyone can become stronger, fitter, and can surpass themselves and achieve their goals by keeping it simple!
No strict diet.
No meal plan.
I eat whole foods every single day. Every single meal.
In fact, I eat carbs at almost every meal… and I eat the exact same meals as my little family; no need to cook an extra “healthier” meal just for me. #balancedplate
I never overcomplicate things!
I move 5-6 days a week. That doesn’t mean that I work out in a gym every time, but I make sure to at least get my steps in almost every day.
As you probably know by now, my family and I travel a lot. We’re out of the country almost 5-6 months per year #precovid hehe!
So obviously, I could never follow a strict diet. When we travel, we’re always on the go and spend a lot of time in restaurants. But with the #balancedplate, I can always, always, always find a way to eat well, no matter the place, no matter the circumstances.
I still enjoy my social life and I will never let my fitness goals affect the precious time I spend with my family… This has been my lifestyle for the past 5 years and it has allowed me to enjoy and balance my social life while still meeting my fitness goals.
Of course there’s DISCIPLINE and EFFORT! But it’s easier to get it done when you do it in a realistic and sustainable way…the Coco Fitness way 😉
