I still can believe they’re able to make milk out of almonds. Have you ever taste something that dry as almonds?
Anyway, I wasn’t a big fan of almonds until my sister-in-law told me to soak them in water.
If you’re from northern of New-Brunswick, it tastes just like those « noisettes » we used to sell on the side of the road.
Easy to do #keepitsimple :
- Put a bunch of almond in a jar
- Fill it with water
- Eat them 24 hours later.
- You may want to change the water after 24 hours as it will get brownish.
- Keep it in the fridge.
Remember that nuts are nutritious but they do have a lot of fat and calories.
